Commission Terms of Service

Thank you for your interest in commissioning Peachrosearts! Please review the following terms before submitting a commission request.

By accepting a commission quote and proceeding with payment, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below.

1. Commission Requests

  • All commissions begin with an inquiry through the official Peachrosearts website.

  • Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or reserve a commission slot.

  • I reserve the right to decline requests that fall outside my artistic abilities, availability, or personal boundaries.

  • All commission details, including pricing, scope, and estimated completion date, will be confirmed before payment.

2. Pricing and Payments

  • Character portraits start at $60 USD.

  • Half-body illustrations start at $100 USD.

  • Full-body illustrations start at $160 USD.

  • Prices may increase depending on character complexity, additional characters, backgrounds, and special requests.

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins.

  • The remaining 50% must be paid before the final, high-resolution artwork is delivered.

  • Payments are collected through secure invoices. Additional work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote.

3. Turnaround Time

  • The estimated completion time is 2–4 weeks after the deposit is received and project details are confirmed.

  • Completion times may vary depending on complexity, workload, and client response times.

  • Clients will be notified of significant delays, and any revised deadlines will be discussed.

4. Revisions

  • Each commission includes two rounds of minor revisions.

  • Minor revisions may include small adjustments to colors, facial expressions, or design details.

  • Major changes to the approved composition, pose, or character design may require additional fees.

  • Additional charges will always be communicated and approved before extra work begins.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

At PeachRoseArts, each commission is custom-made according to the client's approved specifications. A 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining 50% due before final delivery.

Before Work Begins

Clients who cancel after paying their deposit but before any artwork has been started are eligible for a full refund of their deposit.

After Work Has Begun

Once work has begun on the commission, the initial 50% deposit is generally nonrefundable in the event of a client-initiated cancellation or change of mind.

This deposit compensates the artist for time reserved, preparation, sketching, coloring, and other work performed.

Clients will receive progress updates and opportunities to request revisions throughout the commission process.

After Sketch Approval and During Final Rendering

Once the client has reviewed the initial sketch and base colors, the commission proceeds to final rendering.

If the client chooses to cancel during this stage for personal reasons or a change of mind, the initial deposit will generally be retained. The remaining balance will not be charged, and the unfinished commission will not be delivered.

After the Artwork Is Completed

If the completed artwork substantially matches the agreed specifications and the client chooses not to proceed with the purchase, the initial deposit will generally be retained.

The remaining balance will not be charged if the commission is canceled, and the final high-resolution artwork will not be delivered.

Artist Delays, Errors, and Failure to Deliver

If PeachRoseArts is unable to complete a commission, materially fails to meet the agreed specifications, or cannot meet an agreed deadline, the client may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

If additional time is needed, the artist will contact the client to discuss a revised deadline. Clients are not required to accept a proposed extension.

Reasonable opportunities to correct errors will be offered where appropriate.

Additional Conditions

  • Refund and cancellation requests must be made through the official PeachRoseArts business email.

  • Each request will be evaluated based on the agreed terms, work completed, circumstances of cancellation, and applicable law.

  • Any approved refund will be processed through the original payment method where supported.

  • Refunds, exceptions, and changes to the commission agreement will be confirmed in writing.

  • Nothing in this policy limits a client's rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Copyright and Usage Rights

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Peachrosearts retains copyright in the original artistic elements created for the commission.

  • Clients receive a personal-use license to display and share the finished illustration, including on personal social media, with artist credit where reasonably possible.

  • Commercial uses, including merchandise, paid advertising, and resale, require a separate written agreement.

  • Clients may not claim authorship of the artwork or resell the illustration as their own creation.

  • The client retains whatever rights they already possess in their original character designs and supplied materials.

7. Portfolio and Promotional Use

  • Peachrosearts may request permission to feature completed commissions on its website, portfolio, or social media.

  • Clients may request that their commissions remain private.

  • Any agreed privacy arrangements will be confirmed in writing.

8. References and Communication

  • Clients should provide accurate descriptions and relevant character references.

  • All official commission communication is conducted primarily through email.

  • Optional virtual consultations may be arranged for complex requests, subject to availability.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to provide any reference materials that require authorization for the intended use.

9. Final Artwork Delivery

  • Completed commissions are delivered digitally in an agreed image format, such as PNG or JPEG.

  • Final high-resolution, unwatermarked artwork is delivered after all outstanding payments have cleared.

  • Physical products, printed copies, and editable source files are not included unless specifically agreed upon.

10. Agreement

By submitting a commission inquiry, clients acknowledge that they have been given access to these terms.

A commission becomes confirmed only when the client accepts the final quote and commission conditions and completes the required initial payment.
